mmm…. well i haven’t been to the LA area for a while… but there is a shop called “RC Stop” at 1543 West Olympic Boulevard Los Angeles, CA. umm… I also wouldn’t suggest getting a big RC helicopter for your father if he is not experienced. If he is, then ok. There is also Hobbycomat 17721 Vanowen Street Reseda, CA. Those are the only ones that I know of. Hope it helps.
