Go to the “as seen on TV” web site, they have links to reviews on all the models and makes of interior R/C heli’s. I think you will find that “you get what you pay for” on these products. The more expensive ones seem to last longer, and have more replacement parts included with the kit. From what I have read, they take some practice to use (don’t expect to fly it at first like you see it done on the tube) but most anyone can do it. I also think you can return them if there is a problem with it. Good luck!

Bought this item for my 13-year old Grandson for Christmas. It was perfect for him and he enjoyed the gift very much. It crashed a few times since he is not a perfected remote control flier, but the Havoc Heli held up and kept on flying. Great gift, great toy.

The product is as described on package. I had a hard time controlling the helicopter, so I’m not sure I’d recommend for younger kids, 12 or under. Lots of fun.

Do not get airhogs helicopter. they are cheap and not very durable. If I were you, Id go to http://www.xheli.com , they sell and specialize in helicopters. Once you get there, click the button that says “4 channel” and they would have really good helis for you to select. good luck!!!

The problem with the air hogs helicopter is setting the trim. It takes a while, and is done manually by twisting the empennage holding the tail rotor. The main rotor trim is set from the controller, but that also takes some time. Plus, every time the heli hits a wall or goes out of range and falls, the tail- and main- rotor trim must be reset. Took about 30 minutes of concentrated effort just to get the thing to hover.
So, if you enjoy patiently manipulating minute amounts of trim control, then this heli is fine. If you want to fly and hover with minimal work, time, and effort, get another model.
